+Team Adelos
Don't take it personally PB. Everyone is just stuck and wants to make progress. There are just so many directions that one can take with the remaining puzzles. Everyone will respect your decision, they just want a decision. I have seven left and can say that I keep coming up with ideas (they are getting worse each time). The hardest part is finding a connection. The puzzles requiring only 6 digits are even harder, because most of the idea (whether valid or not) fall within the region your targeting. I just hope that everyone will continue to be courteous to each other. Remember that we make up the best geocaching group because of the people. The puzzles are suppose to be hard, so they are successful. (speech over.. sorry about that) Paul Edited January 29, 2008 by Team Adelos Quote Link to comment

+Eric and Hill
By the way, I would like hints too but that is really your decision. No Hints! These caches are out of my 140 mile radius and I like watching the drama, it is also fun to watch The Polar Bear sweat as he zig zags from work to his car, cautious of any Geocacher that may have been pushed over the breaking point. +Snake & Rooster
My two cents, FlagMan sums it up nicely. Just Do It! (Thanks, Nike) Either put hints on the puzzle page, or don't. It's up to you. If you want people to find the caches . . .put out a hint. If you really aren't interested in anyone finding them . . . don't. Of course, if you really don't want people to find your caches, why put them out in the first place? Personally, I'm with Eric and Hill. It's out of both my lunch and home areas, and I only looked at them for the fun of solving them. Once they were no longer fun, I turned to other things. Life is short. Quote Link to comment

They have provided the best in San Diego and all over the country hours of enjoyment and frustration. If you could have heard and seen the guys at Flagman's house you would have grinned from ear to ear. I was amazed at the amount of work they have done. Well, you can skip conjunctions since they are fairly ineffectual. Prepositions, however, should not be ignored especially if it indicates the temporal, spatial or logical relationship of its object to the rest of the sentence, which in turn makes the prepositional phrase even more important. What about noun phrases you might ask?!? I'm not really using them but be careful about adverbs that inadvertently describes the object, i.e. the clue. I hope this helps and not considered a spoiler... Edited February 2, 2008 by ThePolarBear Quote Link to comment

+Let's Look Over Thayer
I'll post stats again when something new is solved. I guess we won't be seeing any stats for awhile then... Marcus: Captain, if I were you, I'd quit while I was ahead. Back on Minbar there was a saying among the other Rangers: Anyone who wanted to get a straight answer out of Ranger One was to look at every reply in a mirror while hanging upside down from the ceiling. Sheridan: Did it work? Marcus: Oddly enough, yes. Or after a while you passed out and had a vision, either way the result was pretty much the same. Hmmm....a new strategy presents itself... +NYPaddleCacher
I've been working on clearing out my 5 mile radius and I felt that I was making good progress. That is, until my celll phone woke me up at 6am this morning with a massive amount of cache notifications! I was down to 18 caches, 12 of which were puzzles. Now I have 38, 32 of which are puzzles. I hate it when that happens. You must have a lot of caches in your area. It looks like you have over 2700 finds and you still had 18 caches within 5 miles before these puzzles were posted? I've only got 305 finds but have found all but four caches within 10 miles of where I live. Only one is a puzzle cache (which I have solved) but it and two others are in areas that are not very winter accessible. On the other hand only three of the caches within 10 miles of my home coordinates are in lamp post skirts. Quote Link to comment

Another thing that we do not have is snow (well, not much anyway...) To give you an idea of the size of the burden we carry: Nine months ago, I had cleared out an 11 mile radius from my home. To do it, I had to find 1328 caches. Today, I have 1627 caches found inside that radius and if I wanted to clear every cache within that radius again, I would have to go find another 45 caches -- 6 of which are part of ThePolarBear's Tecolote Insanity. Of course, by the time I do that, there will be even more... Yes, it is truly a burden but it is one that we bear gladly... that is, except for those 6 PolarBear caches! P.S. We have several caches to paddle to as well. Bring your kayak... Edited February 19, 2008 by Let's Look Over Thayer Quote Link to comment

+ThePolarBear
Sorry folks for another error - Teco #12 Acronyms. FlagMan was nice enough to point it out for me and it was off by .001 of the West coord. The good news is that he was the only person that had attempted the correct coordinates. New coord checker has been "installed" Quote Link to comment
