Hot or Not?

If you found this cache would you like it or dislike it. I don't want geocachers thinking that it is junk. I'm just asking your opinion on weather or not you like it. THANKS!!!

It sure doesn't look like junk, and it is original. Make sure you put in the effort to place it somewhere that won't get spotted my mugglers. Because of those bright colors, it is likely going to stick out like a sore thumb.

I'd be worried about what it's made out of though. Will it stand up to the elements? And can you hide that from muggles? Geocachers are all about being creative!

I don't think geocachers would think it was junk, but it could grab the attention of non geocachers and might not be long for this world.

I think it would make a great final for a puzzle cache. If the puzzle involved the use of a Rubik's cube that would be even cooler!

It's a neat idea. The problem is it doesn't really blend in with anything. Like briansnat said, it seems like it would attract the attention of people you don't necessarily want finding it.

As far as waterproof goes, it looks to me like that's made of corrugated plastic, right? It'll be fine. What about the paint, though?

 

As far as it sticking out goes, I have a 2 foot tall pirate ship I just hid. I was really worried I would never find a spot to put it that it wouldn't be obvious. I found my spot, you'll find yours.

 

Ya got me curious. Let us know when it is published? Looks very interesting...

Yes it is corrogated plastic. I used gorilla glue to hold it together, it seems indestructable (exept for fires and direct trampling) I used wax crayon for one side and permanent marker on the other sides. I am going to hide it under a large rock or simalar shelter. I'm so glad you all liked it. I will let you guys know when it is published for sure. I've added a rubiks cube logo on the top exept instead of saying Rubik's Cube it says Geo Cache. I really enjoy making creative containers and I'm sure that soon I'll have to consult the expert panel of Geocache judges (you guys) again. Thank you so much for your kind words!
