Thanks to EVERYONE for participating in the fundraiser! The coins are going very well, but there are still a lot left. If anyone is still interested let me know - spread the word - its for a good cause!

Chris is doing very well despite all he's been through in the past year. He started Chemo again this past Monday, but this time he doesnt have radiation on top of it so it wont be as rough. They're working on a replacement upper pallette for his mouth w/ prostetic teeth and he's really psyched about that.

AGAIN A HUUUUUUUGE THANK YOU to all that helped out. ;) And thank you for your kind words and prayers. :)

I've been out of town for a few weeks and while I was away, the geocoin Sprite paid a visit to my house. My antique copper Miisha was just one of the many splendid coins that was waiting for me in my mailbox when I returned. It's awesome! ;)

Thanks Amanda and best wishes to Chris! :)

Still plenty to go around - but I wanted to update everyone on the fundraiser.

I was very happy to give my sister the check from the sales of this coin. She was speechless and looked at me asking. "Corey...what is this for or from??"

"Dorks in the woods with GPS's looking for plastic tubs. LOL From the geocoin we made for you guys."

She got teary eyed and thanked me numerous times throughout the day (we work together). The timing was right on apparently too, since Chris has been back to chemo and she has been missing work to take him to the appointments.

Because of the coin - because of everyone's support - there were a few things that they didnt have to worry about that month. I wanted to give thanks to everyone for keeping the sales strong & for passing on news of the coin through word of mouth. It's cool to see what people can do when they pool together.

Thanks to everyone and remember to keep a lookout for oppurtunities to help someone out in your life. It's a lot easier than you think. <_<

...by the way........I should probobly elaborate on the "dorks in the woods" comment.

Whenever I start explaining to someone about geocaching and Chris is around - he always said "pretty much dorks in the woods looking for tupperware". LOL We always got a good laugh - because he's seen some...pretty crazy pictures of us hanging from stuff, climbing on whatnot etc w/ my GPS in hand. :o

Just wanted to post this for everyone that has taken part in the purchase of this coin and show you a bit of where the proceeds have gone. My sister wrote this piece in the Williamsport Sun Gazette yesterday to thank everyone for the numerous fundraisers.

Thanks again and god bless!!

Email: "Thanks for support"

It has been one year since Chris was diagnosed with cancer. He has endured so much but has been strengthened through all of the support received from so many individuals and organizations. All of the phone calls, cards and prayers have been greatly appreciated. We know as a family we couldn't have made it through everything without the support of so many people.

We would like to take this opportunity to let everyone know that anything you may have done, the kind words of support, the shoulder to lean on, the time you took to cut the grass, drive Chris to treatment, the participation in a fundraiser, the gifts of support have meant so much we will be forever grateful and thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

About 1,500 people die of cancer every day and approximately 3,400 are diagnosed in the US alone every day. The government continues to cut funding for cancer research. If cancer hasn't touched your life in some way I guarantee it will at some point. So please help any way you can.
