  1. Just getting back into the game, and just learning more on letterboxing. It seems that most sites are dead, and found very few in my area. Anyone know of good links or site to start the journey?
  2. I have others lined up down the road, hopefully for the end of 2011
  3. In winter cleaning, I found a whole box of my old series for Sylvan Seekers with all original Metals from Series two! All are trackable and full sets are available in all original metals. Please PM if interested. Cost is 10$ each with shipping included w/in the US. Story on Backside... **PLEASE NOTE** The first series is sold out, but wanted to post this to show the size on these buggers.
  4. Sorry everyone for not responding. The response I got was much greater than I had expected! I'll be doing up emails tonight and invoices. Thanks for being so patient. And yes, they are all unactivated and trackable.
  5. Hi All - I just found a load of Sylvan Seekers coins that I had released in the past two years that I thought were completely gone. Anyone interested? All metals available (satin gold, antique bronze, gold, & silver) for 7 dollars each. Let me know if interested! [/img] [/img]

    Selling Coins

I've never sold any in a 'store' but I do have people here locally (non-cachers/non-coiners) that are interested in my designs for jewelry purposes (branching out into that in the near future ). Have you seen the wire wrappings the 0R0B0RUS does? Makes for great pendants and you might want to have a couple done like that to inspire non-cachers/non-coiners to buy. My opinion is if there is a small market for your coins, give it a try and see what happens. "You miss 100% of the shots you don't take"-Wayne Gretzky I havent checked out that thread yet, but I'll be sure to do so. Thanks! As for what coin - I created the Sylvan Seekers line (Trickel & Miisha) which is going to be linked to a childrens book released in the near future. Having an issue loading up the pics though - photobucket is not being friendly to me currently...

Anyone out there that has minted coins have any experience with selling then to the general public? I've got a surplus of coins and was asked if I would be interested in selling them at a local artist store.

  14. Thanks for asking! He's doing really well & been through w/ chemo for awhile now which he is very thankful for. Keep praying !
  15. Just wanted to post this for everyone that has taken part in the purchase of this coin and show you a bit of where the proceeds have gone. My sister wrote this piece in the Williamsport Sun Gazette yesterday to thank everyone for the numerous fundraisers. Thanks again and god bless!! Here is the link if you'd like to post comments: http://sungazette.com/page/content.detail/id/506254.html Thanks for support POSTED: February 27, 2008 Save | Print | Email | Read comments | Post a comment Email: "Thanks for support" *To: <--TO Email REQUIRED! *From: <--FROM Email REQUIRED! It has been one year since Chris was diagnosed with cancer. He has endured so much but has been strengthened through all of the support received from so many individuals and organizations. All of the phone calls, cards and prayers have been greatly appreciated. We know as a family we couldn't have made it through everything without the support of so many people. We would like to take this opportunity to let everyone know that anything you may have done, the kind words of support, the shoulder to lean on, the time you took to cut the grass, drive Chris to treatment, the participation in a fundraiser, the gifts of support have meant so much we will be forever grateful and thank you from the bottom of our hearts. About 1,500 people die of cancer every day and approximately 3,400 are diagnosed in the US alone every day. The government continues to cut funding for cancer research. If cancer hasn't touched your life in some way I guarantee it will at some point. So please help any way you can. 16. LOL Finally I got someone to notice them! LOL That was the finishing touch by my daughter. Enjoy!! And this process will continue w/ the series as the coins keep rolling out.
  17. Has any coinholder paid attention to the code on the coins they recieved? I havent heard anyone say a darn thing about it..... Please post if you have - BUT dont ruin it for those who havent please.
  18. ...by the way........I should probobly elaborate on the "dorks in the woods" comment. Whenever I start explaining to someone about geocaching and Chris is around - he always said "pretty much dorks in the woods looking for tupperware". LOL We always got a good laugh - because he's seen some...pretty crazy pictures of us hanging from stuff, climbing on whatnot etc w/ my GPS in hand.
  19. Still plenty to go around - but I wanted to update everyone on the fundraiser. I was very happy to give my sister the check from the sales of this coin. She was speechless and looked at me asking. "Corey...what is this for or from??" "Dorks in the woods with GPS's looking for plastic tubs. LOL From the geocoin we made for you guys." She got teary eyed and thanked me numerous times throughout the day (we work together). The timing was right on apparently too, since Chris has been back to chemo and she has been missing work to take him to the appointments. Because of the coin - because of everyone's support - there were a few things that they didnt have to worry about that month. I wanted to give thanks to everyone for keeping the sales strong & for passing on news of the coin through word of mouth. It's cool to see what people can do when they pool together. Thanks to everyone and remember to keep a lookout for oppurtunities to help someone out in your life. It's a lot easier than you think.
  20. Mark me down for one!!!
  21. Thanks to EVERYONE for participating in the fundraiser! The coins are going very well, but there are still a lot left. If anyone is still interested let me know - spread the word - its for a good cause! Chris is doing very well despite all he's been through in the past year. He started Chemo again this past Monday, but this time he doesnt have radiation on top of it so it wont be as rough. They're working on a replacement upper pallette for his mouth w/ prostetic teeth and he's really psyched about that. AGAIN A HUUUUUUUGE THANK YOU to all that helped out. And thank you for your kind words and prayers.
  22. Going to be in the Harrisburg area this weekend and I'm looking for some of the top places to visit and see - cache or no cache. Could I get some ideas from any locals? Thank you!
  23. Sure did - I must have missed responding - its going out today!
  24. Thanks to everyone again for the support! Another shipment going out today - BTW - Chris's good friend from college has made a site w/ clips of him doing various crazy (BUT family friendly) stuff. It's worth checking out. He's a total spaz. LOL http://www.leisuresuitjared.com Check it out!
