+Waterboy Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Why are we wasting all this good cold when there is no snow? Quote
kateweb Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 It snowed a lot last night, I will never be able to find a cache under all this stuff. Quote
+briansnat Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Well now at least the ski areas can make it. Hey, winter ain't over yet. Who knows, we may get hammered by snow from here on in. Quote

I hope not , I have to walk to collage every day I would prefer it if I did not have to tie tennis rackets to my my feet just to make it. Quote
+Team Divi Divi Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Yea, all this cold weather finally and very little snow....my snoshoes are still hanging on the wall. I bet Waterboy's water bottles are all frozen. Quote
bogleman Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Move to Erie PA - yesterday I-90 and I-79 were both shut down for snow related accidents - 10 inches in about 5 hours. Ahhhhh nothing like a good white-out. Quote
Guyute1210 Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Move to Erie PA - yesterday I-90 and I-79 were both shut down for snow related accidents - 10 inches in about 5 hours. Ahhhhh nothing like a good white-out. I was on my way across I-80 when I heard the news about the 50 car pile up on I-90 closing it from Erie to NY border. Further across near Barkeyville (Rt-8), they had closed down I-80 b/c of a bad accident going westbound and there were 3 whiteouts on my way home.. Quote
+Metaphor Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Snow totals are higher in Arizona than here on the Eastern Shore of Maryland... Quote
+avroair Posted January 26, 2007 Posted January 26, 2007 Not enough freaking snow already! We had the first 1/8 inch I have seen and it didn't even settle in New York City --- Cold without snow is like taking your first bite out of an ice cream cone, the ice cream falls off and you are left with the cone. +Mocadeki Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 This really has been a big waste good cold. I'm still hoping for snow. Quote
+RoyalRed Posted January 28, 2007 Posted January 28, 2007 Made a bad investment this Fall. Bought myself a snow blower. A new teaspoon would have done just as well and wouldn't have cost as much! Quote

But if you didn't we would've had a year like 1995-96 winter and you'd be cursing yourself for not getting one...... Quote
+lakelady Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 (edited) Its snowing now!!! Edited January 29, 2007 by lakelady Quote
+paarker Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Well Waterboy you should head up to Rockslyvania there should be about 3 or 4 incnes of the stuff on the ground. Quote
+HaLiJuSaPa Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Its snowing now!!! Yes, but this was very limited, I believe only Brooklyn, Staten Island, and much of northern NJ got over an inch. Here in Westchester too little fell to even really stick, I was surprised to see none on my car this morning and 1-3" were forecast for the whole tri-state area. Quote
+fox-and-the-hound Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Well Waterboy you should head up to Rockslyvania there should be about 3 or 4 incnes of the stuff on the ground. I hear you! Weather guys say we might finally get the white mana late this week though. I still haven't managed to strap on the snowshoes yet and it's getting to be a bit upsetting Quote
+Perfect Tommy Posted January 29, 2007 Posted January 29, 2007 Now that Future Perfect Tommy and the Long-Suffering Wife got snowshoes for Xmas, we'll probably get no snow. I'm not complaining - this good cold means no ticks, easy bushwacking and fewer muggles on the trail. Quote
+weathernowcast Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 My shoes are muddy for the first time this year. Those of you who failed to walk on water and stroll through swamps in this snowless frozen wonderland missed a lot of easy caching this 2007. Enjoy the spring rains and don;t forget to buy a canoe! +Packanack Posted February 23, 2007 Posted February 23, 2007 I just happen to have one for sale, needs a little work. Quote
