+captainmath
The AT in Northern NJ and PA has treated me to some memorable vistas. One of the many must-do caches in the area is Pinwheel Vista. If you can see around Mrs CM and me, you'll see a great view! Quote Link to comment
+captainmath
The best views are the ones on which a photo doesn't come close to doing justice. My favorite view in the area is the amazing view of three states at Peter's Prodigious Panorama. Where else can you stand at an incredible vista in one state and take a photo of the highest point in another state and the easternmost point in still another state? Quote Link to comment

+ODragon
Shades of the past is a great virtual in NEPA territory that no one finds... It's been found 13 times in over 4 years, with almost half of the finds in 2007. Quote Link to comment

+Quoddy
This past weekend DominoCT and I hiked into Squealy's Little Bit's at Little Pond in the Green Mountains of Vermont for an overnight stay. The snow held off until moments after we arrived, but continued for the following twelve hours. We woke up to a fantastic sunrise, but by the time we had breakfast and packed up it was near blizzard conditions. I'd done the cache previously, but DominoCT spent close to an hour with a long handled screw driver chipping the ice around the cache to no avail. Great way to spend a weekend. +avgraphics
Caching this morning... TwoCat (Bob & Deb) with us Peconic Bay Sailors (Brian & Deb)... We met in the parking lot at Duke Island Park In Raritan, NJ... Getting ready to set off for Code Talkers cache... and saw this guy as soon as we got out of our vehicles... VERY unusual for that area... When I was at D.I.P. I too photographed a similar looking eagle - this was while I was at the "OUT ON A LIMB" cache. Quote Link to comment

Yeah, we saw the same eagles (I think there were two) when we kayaked the Raritan last summer, they were in that same spot, near the "out on a limb" cache in Duke Island Park. We also saw two immature and one adult up in Harriman Park NY along seven lakes drive. Cool stuff. Nice to see them in the area. Quote Link to comment

Some local took a few pics that wound up in the newspaper. Not sure if they are still there tho. Quote Link to comment
