+chancerider
I'm curious if there are any coin of the month clubs? I'm looking for a way to more or less systematically purchase coins to be released in caches? Thanks! Quote Link to comment

gridlox
And there is also The Geoswag Geocoin and Pin of the Month Club !! Not only do you get geocoinage, but also a pin to match. They make great swag to have when caching. Especially nice to have when you run across a "small" tradeable cache! D-man Quote Link to comment

+GBOTS
If you feel the need to narrow your choice down to one club, I would recommend the Geoswag coin and pin club. Quote Link to comment
ParentsofSAM
If you feel the need to narrow your choice down to one club, I would recommend the Geoswag coin and pin club. I second that recommendation. It is the BEST club! Quote Link to comment

+chancerider
Yes, you may now kiss all your disposable income goodbye! Ain't that the truth! Since I'm new to coin collecting I've resorted to - GASP - purchasing a few from that ePlace. There's just gotta be a better way. Especially since I want some keepers as well as coins to set loose. Thanks again everyone for the recommendations! Quote Link to comment
+Bhob
Some info that may help you to make your decision . . . GeoCoin Club (aka GCC) takes subscriptions for a fixed time and a set number of coins For example, you can sign up for two coins per month for six months They ding you via PayPal for the full amount up front At the end of your subscription, you must re-subscribe GeoSwag Coin and Pin Club (aka C&P) has an ongoing subscription You choose the number of coins, they automatically charge your PayPal account on the 25th of the month prior to the month of the coin - this continues until you cancel The Signal coins are not a subscription - you must buy them individually The Benchmark Club is more of an opportunity situation Once you are signed up, you get a chance to buy the coin (which comes out every other month, rather than every month like the three above) As long as you keep buying each new coin, you are guaranteed the same price as when you started If you lapse, you can re-join, but it may be at a higher price No guarantee about the future, but . . . GCC seems to make a fair number of extras each month, and sells them to members at GeoCoinStore.com C&P seems to have fewer extras, but also sells past issues from time to time (to members only) The Signal coins seem to be made in greater numbers So far, only January 2006 (the first one) has sold out Too soon to tell what the Benchmark folks will do - they have only made one coin so far My personal advice . . . Don't take any chances - buy 'em all ! Edited October 31, 2006 by Bhob Quote Link to comment
+crake
Oh ok, I'll throw my name in the hat. Crake coins aren't subscription-based, but I do have a new coin every 4-6 weeks Quote Link to comment

I auto renews at the end of the subscription, unless you cancel. Quote Link to comment
