+Prying Pandora
REALLY need to hear an update on this ASAP! The last I heard CCC and Curmudgeonly gal were working on a location for the dinner. I havn't heard from either of them. I just heard from them both and it sounds like it's not going to happen this year. Quote Link to comment

+NSUE
This thread seems to have died a slow death with no real conclusions on where the next CM actually WILL be...can we revive talks of locations? I don't have the time/energy to plan one myself but if there's anything I can do to help plan from here in Seattle let me know and I'll help out however I can. I sure would hate to see the Wa CMs go the way of the dinosaur... Quote Link to comment

I sure would hate to see the Wa CMs go the way of the dinosaur... The questions I can see are: 1) Are cache machines worth it? A lot of caches on machine are either muggled or need repair after a machine. 2) Where have we done, and where would be a good place to do one? 3) In a place that hasn't had one, why would it be good to do it there? 4) Are there enough ammenities in the area to take care of us? i.e. hotels, restaurant that can seat us all cheers, Poppa J Quote Link to comment
+brodiebunch
Has anyone ever organized a Seattle cache machine? There are places that can handle large hungry crowds here. I am not volunteering. I cannot even make it to a WSGA meeting Edited October 22, 2006 by brodiebunch Quote Link to comment

I am not volunteering. I cannot even make it to a WSGA meeting The problem is that most 'machiners have cached extensively in the Seattle area (since the original CMs were planned by a Seattlite).
