+TexasGringo
Found "Leopold Legacy: January" GCKAK3 today. I walked around in circles for about 30 min...and then just happened to see it. It was about 20 feet from where my GPS60 Csx said it should be. Great exercise...I guess I'll go buy some boots and a Machete for the next find. Quote Link to comment

That's within the normal accuracy of a GPSr. Uh, you were kidding about the machete, weren't you? Quote Link to comment

Yeah ... a machete would be too obvious ... you need some "official" looking safety vests and long handled pruners and a hat marked with something like ... "Forest Maintenance Service" .... +AuntieWeasel
But definitely get the boots. I finally broke down and bought myself a decent pair of boots last month, after logging hundreds of miles in my crap HiTechs, and it was so worth it. Quote Link to comment
+Isonzo Karst
Congratulations on the MEFF (the Florida variation of FTF; MEFF=Most Excellent First Finder. It has the advantage of conjugating well. If you tell somebody you're FTFing the cache they're liable to tell you to "cut that out", but you can sure be out MEFFing them. Quote Link to comment
+Team JSAM
caching will now get most costly as you are hooked you will drive 20,30,40 miles for one cache just to be FTF Quote Link to comment

+Geek&Gopher
Welcome Aboard! Once you find your first cache you won't want to stop. I'm a 1 week old newbie and loving it. Great way to spend time in the outdoors which I love to do anyway. Quote Link to comment
