Got a Garmin eTrex Legend.

As you probably know, it comes with a 9 pin connector to connect with the PC. Does anyone know if I can get a USB cable instead? (My laptop doesn't have a 9 pin connector!) If so, where can I get one from that is reliable?

I'm not a PC expert, so forgive me if this is a simple query!

Thanks!

Looks like the nie pin cable I've already got!

Thanks for your help though. Better save the pennies!

No, it is: "Ebuyer Extra Value USB to Serial 9 Way adapter"

It has a USB on one end an 9-pin serial on the other.

Alright! Told you I was computer illiterate. Thanks for correcting me.

Not sure if anyone else has had the same response as me. Every time I open the link, my AV spots a Trojan

"Sos3D2.tmp -- Exploit-obscured.html".

My AV is McAfee Enterprise 7.1

I have just got one off ebay for £7.50 including postage, so dont despair. My laptop needs one too. They are also available for around the £10 to £15 mark on ebay.

Hope this helps....Red Squadron (John & Ann)
