+The HERB5
Planning hols in May, we're off to Devon for the week. Theres the Tavy Challenge, Dartmoor Ten Tors, the UnderWorld series. I've only got a week, what order should I do them in. Quote Link to comment
+plymplodders
Tavy Challenge first as you can do them all in one day. You could do my Ten Tors series over two days if you like lots of walking. Caves can be done in a day or two if you can work out the end bonus. All great caches & well worth doing, Pete Quote Link to comment

+maporter
Well, although I now live in exile up in Preston, Lancs - I'm originally from Bovey Tracey in Devon. Although new to geocaching, I've spent a lot of time on Dartmoor - I still travel to Devon on a monthly basis to see the family, in fact I'm going down in a couple of weeks time, my personal choice whilst down, are for the following: All of the Ten Tors Series. along with Dartmoor Myths & Legends Series. In addition I'd go and do the virtual at Hound Tor (GCG4CR), mainly because out of all the tors, this one's my personal favorite. I reckon the above would keep you busy most of the week, whilst giving you a chance to explore some of the best areas of Dartmoor. But as Pete mentions in his cache descriptions, especially for the Ten Tors Series: "as always with Dartmoor, take care & make sure you are properly equipped for walking on the moor". +Stuey
Don't forget the Teign Valley series which is a great series, and loads of other single caches scattered all over Dartmoor. Quote Link to comment
+Skate and Jane
A quick shameless plug for GCMRF5 If you haven't been there before. Nobody's complained so far! Quote Link to comment

I agree, the Hound Tor virtual was a great walk when we stayed in Belstone. A view for miles and no other people in sight. Geoff Quote Link to comment

+Skate and Jane
There are two Hound Tors. The virtual is a great, fairly long walk. The other isn't Quote Link to comment
+davy boy
If you lucky you'll be able to grab a cup of coffee from the mobile van at Hound Tor, cleverly the van's called, or used to be called "The Hound of The Basket Meal'" and used to do a wicked home made beef burger. They still make them and they are just what you need after a good walk! Quote Link to comment
