gchance
Today I copied pictures from an Alaskan fishing trip my boss took from the digital camera to the computer. Looking at one picture where he was standing in front of his catches, there were some fallen trees in the background. When I looked at the picture the first thing I thought was, "It's gotta be in the fallen trees." I gotta stop. Greg Quote Link to comment
Davispak
Driving by an area and going OOH I bet that would be a great place to hide a cache... Quote Link to comment
Zzyzx Road
I can't pull into a parking lot without wondering, "Is there a micro over there on the remote sewer cleanout cap just a mere 2" above ground yet so carefully placed in a small clump of groundcover to be a coincidence?" My children roll their eyes and mutter something about "sad"... Quote Link to comment
Ambrosia
Every time I watch a movie that has people outdoors, I say, 'I bet there's a geocache there'. My husband is finally getting used to it. Quote Link to comment

Confucius' Cat
Sometimes, when I'm really bored, I even go looking. Haven't "muggled" one yet, except for Murasaki finding one in a covered bridge we were scouting for a hide of our own. Quote Link to comment

Pablo Mac
The only thing on my TV lately has been my wife's 6-CD (17+ hours!) "Best of Oprah" collection she got for Christmas. I wonder if Oprah's chair is made of steel... OPRAH: "...and then I thought, I'm going into the Ugly Cry..." STRANGE AUDIENCE MEMBER (approaching stage without permission): "Excuse me Oprah, can you please move to this other chair?" (Audience murmuring) OPRAH: "Uhhh...sure...can we get Security to the stage, please?" (leans away from glossy-eyed stranger staring into what looks like an early 90's cell phone) (Audience gasps as the strange person reaches under Oprah's chair before she can move out of it) (Show cuts to commercial) OPRAH: "Wow! What a strange occurance! Just so y'all know, Studio Security has escorted that strange man off the premises. He was muttering something about 'logging an FTF'...(rolls her eyes) I wonder what THAT was all about!" (Audience laughs nervously) Back to our regularly sheduled program: Quote Link to comment

Airmapper
I have that problem watching Stargate. Naaa, GPS doesn't work offworld. You would need at least 3 UAV's and the cache would need to transmit a radio frequency. Then there is the whole mad alien shooting at you thing, making all caches 5/5. (Okay, back to reality,I'd probably do the same thing, but I haven't seen SG in a while. ) [EDIT: Badd Spellling. Edited January 22, 2006 by Airmapper Quote Link to comment

RebelJedi
My wife and I were talking about this very thing the other day. She asked me if I ever wondered if there any caches where we had vacationed or lived before. So I looked up Fredericksburg, VA and saw that there is almost 3000 within a 100 mi radais. +tozainamboku
We were watching a movie with a scene in the Roman Forum when I turned to my wife and said 'I found a cache right under that bench'. I live in the LA area and was at a geocaching event this weekend. Someone there mentioned to me how much more often they now recognize locations in movies and television because they had found a cache there. Quote Link to comment
