Shilfiell
I think it would be great to have almost every Roadside America category listed, but I saw one of these the yesterday and my instinctive response was "that would be a great virtual." Shoe Trees in Roadside America. Thanks for considering - -shilfiell Edited January 14, 2006 by Shilfiell Link to comment
WizCreations
That looks interesting, though I've never seen one before. So it's just someon throws their shoes up there, and then someone else sees it and throws more shoes up into the tree? Link to comment
Cedar Grove Seekers
If we ever saw a shoe tree, we'd definitely want to log it somewhere. Link to comment
DavidMac
I like this idea. We found one last year and submitted it to the Roadside america site, but they never listed it. Link to comment
WizCreations
Well, why not? I say go for it (but I don't have the authority). I also suggest that you go back to the one you saw and place a micro cache inside a shoe =) Link to comment

Dew Crew
Anyone going to make a group for this one? I really like the idea, I know where one is and I was going to place a cache there! Let me know when it's made, I would love to join. If nobody is planning on making a group, I would be willing to. Edited April 13, 2006 by Dew Crew Link to comment

Dew Crew
Now that group functionality is available someone should contact Shilfiell to start a group for it. I sent Shilfiell an email a couple days ago, and receieved no reply. They have logged on everyday since I email them. I may wait another day and start the group tomorrow if I don't receive a response. Link to comment

Dew Crew
The Shoe Trees Category is now listed in the directory! Link to comment
spud67
This probably could have been made a sub-category of the category already created "Roadside Attractions". The category was made for this including the link on the description page to 'Roadside America' and 'Large Canadian Roadside Attractions'. Link to comment
Dew Crew
This probably could have been made a sub-category of the category already created "Roadside Attractions". The only problem with that is it doesn't accept sub-categories. It would have to be a variable, and I don't see how that would have worked. Edited May 2, 2006 by Dew Crew Link to comment
