+pdxmarathonman
I received a coin in trade today. Very nice. I saw one on the E site that was making the claim that it is the first coin to feature the likeness of the cacher on it. I'm hurt. Quote Link to comment

Hugh Jazz
I saw one on the E site that was making the claim that it is the first coin to feature the likeness of the cacher on it. I'm hurt. I have been informed that this is not the first geocoin medallion to feature the "likeness" of a geocacher. There have been coins made which feature for example the whole body of a geocacher, and that is also a "likeness." My usage of the word "likeness" was imprecise. This is the first geocoin medallion to prominently feature a large engraving of the cacher's head and face. That is what I meant by "likeness." Apologies for any inconvenience caused by my inaccurate choice of words. Quote Link to comment
