Lesbaru
Dear Miss Manners, I won a geocaching.com t-shirt at last year's MiGO event. It was waaaay too big, but I wore it a couple times. Last week I put it in a cache as a "freebie" because I just couldn't bear to toss it into a used clothing donation dumpster. It was clean, I promise. Is a slightly used t-shirt just too grody to put in a cache? Should I go retrieve it? Overwrought in Washington Quote Link to comment
+cache_test_dummies
I wouldn't be offended if I encountered such a thing in a cache, but don't know if I'd personally want to trade for it. I've heard of people actually eating food that they found in a cache, so I bet the shirt would appeal to someone out there, especially if it was left nice and safe and dry in a ziploc. lost02
I've heard of people actually eating food that they found in a cache But they were pre-packaged Jelly Belly "Sport Beans", and hadn't hit their expiration date yet, and you shouldn't leave food in a cache, and we were hungry... +Airmapper
What cache is this, I'm in Kentucky and wear an XL. Put a TB tag on it and send to GCXXXX, I'll have to put out an ammo can first. Just kidding. Edited October 2, 2005 by Airmapper Quote Link to comment
+garri
So am I wrong if I donate my clothes to parish church? Quote Link to comment
+deimos444
Considering how much those shirts cost I would be very happy to get another one from a cache. Washing machines do wonders for dirty clothes or so I have been told. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
As long as there were no ketchup stains on it, I don't think its a bad thing. Quote Link to comment
Clan Riffster
I think it's terrible! You should remove it immedietely! As pennance, mail it to me. Quote Link to comment
+Olar
I wish you had of checked with me first. I would have had Mrs. Olar "fix" it for you. She can wash and shrink any size shirt down to what you require. Am I ever glad she doesn't read these forums. Olar Edited October 3, 2005 by Olar Quote Link to comment
+Semper Questio
Just put that shirt in my closet. It's GREAT at shrinkin' clothes! Quote Link to comment
Lesbaru
It's in GCJXA3 "Maplewood Ammo Box Stash". I consider it a "freebie" not a trade item, cuz it is slightly used, after all. It's an XL, and it's in a zippy bag. Someone take it, please! (there's some old labelling on it, it was the only zippy bag I had that was big enough). FREE SHIRT! NOT A TRADE ITEM! fangirlbob
Hey, what an idea. People always buy me the wrong size t-shirt. I have a growing collection of large and medium shirts with really cute stuff on them. Never worn, looks like there would be takers. Quote Link to comment
+ATMA
I dont see anything wrong with it. I am sure someone will pick it up right away and really enjoy it. Quote Link to comment
