2SPs
My wife and I have been loving this activity for the last 3 months. It doesn't seem like it could have been around for too long because the accessability of GPS and the internet have only been around for the last decade or so. Where did this whole addiction begin and how did it spread? Quote Link to comment

2SPs
Thanks to all for answering. It's even more unbelievable, but I love it! We found our 81st tonight and it's really amazing that in just 5 years, it has spread from a bucket in Oregon to the town of Nicholasville, KY having 15-20 stashes. Quote Link to comment
Langner91
I think the funniest part is that from the accounts above, the first cache was "burried". My how things have changed. Quote Link to comment

BilboB
I was one of the lucky ones to find the first trade item O.C.B. or the Original Can of Beans. Quote Link to comment
TeamAO
When Clinton didn't renew a bill that scrambled GPS signals, users could have better accuracy with their GPS units. Someone in the northwest hid a cache in the woods and posted the coordinates online. People found it, the rest it history. Quote Link to comment
Bear Paughs
I was one of the lucky ones to find the first trade item O.C.B. or the Original Can of Beans. That's really cool! I'd read about a can of beans being in the original stash (which I thought was very amusing), but I had no idea the original was still out there. Quote Link to comment
