Moving traveler toward their goal(s) is encouraged, but kidnapping them for months is not. Depending on how long your going to have them, you may want to contact the owners and ask if the length of time is ok with them.

I'll suggest two weeks as a limit... If you will have them longer contact the owner.

I think this is fine. What I do when I'm planning a trip is check the local caches for bugs. I then check the bug pages to see if any are going my way. Then I scoop up those bugs and take them with me.

Last weekend, I headed to New York for a wedding. I took with me a bug that was going to Pennsylvania and another that was headed for Maine.

Two things.

1. Isn't a poll supposed to have more than one choice?

2. I think it is a great idea. Bug owners want to see the bugs moved. And I really enjoy taking photos of the bugs in various settings and posting them on the bug page. My assumption is that many of the bugs have kids watching them. Bug photos make it more interesting for the kids. I have had bugs at a Thanksgiving dinner, Chicago Symphony Concert, Garrison Kiellor show, Church, Harley Davidson store, Dunkin Donuts, Marshall Fields Christmas window, in a Nature Center, at a Bob Evans restaurant, etc. Photos taken with adults, kids, animals, etc. Make it fun!
