javaa
Can someone tell me how you go about temporarily disabling a cache I own? I see the archive button, but I just want to disable it, not archive it. Thanks! Quote Link to comment
+SeventhSon
Right below the name of the cache on the cache page is a link to "temporarily disable" 7 Edited December 28, 2004 by SeventhSon Quote Link to comment

+erik88l-r
Thanks SeventhSon. I can be pretty blind sometimes! Actually permanently archiving a cache is not an uncommon occurance when the cache owner only meant to disable it - so don't feel like you're the only blind one out there. It should be more obvious which is which on the cache page. That is a feature the cache reviewers have asked Jeremy to put on the "wish list", since we're the ones who get to "unarchive" the cache archived in error. Thanks for asking before pushing the button. erik - geocaching.com admin Quote Link to comment
+Photom
Well - I have my first cache - which was approved yesterday. But no matter what I do, it has the line through it, like it is disabled. Can someone tell me why? UC Merced - huh?? by Photom (GCMB5M) Quote Link to comment

Can someone tell me why?UC Merced - huh?? by Photom (GCMB5M) As noted in other threads, there's something weird going on with the database. I've seen this happen from time to time in the past. Hopefully it'll resolve on its own. Quote Link to comment
