The Bandit
I once heard of someone that put a deck of cards into a cache and when people would come they would take a card and leave a diffrent one and then produced a full deck of cards all from diffrent decks. Dose anyone know of a cache done this way ??? Ideas for diffrent caches please!!! Quote Link to comment
inventorjg
That is a cool idea. I should try it. The only hitch is that it would have to be the same card! Quote Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
Sounds like an experiment in chaos theory. Quote Link to comment
+clearpath
Sounds good ... however, don't be surprised when someone takes a card and leaves a golfball. Quote Link to comment
The Bandit
They would take a card lets say the two of hearts. and replace it with a two of hearts from a forien deck Edited July 19, 2004 by The Bandit Quote Link to comment
blocko1000
Here is one out here in Reno, Nv. that uses a deck of cards. I am not sure how the cards are used to play some sort of game. But the guy states that he checked up on his cache and saw that people are playing the game. The cache is titled 52 card pickup and the waypoint is GCJP5Y and was placed by nv4life. +art begotti
uh... similar idea... (stole it from a friend's idea for a yearbook replacement...) leave a deck of cards and a couple different colored sharpies in a cache. have everyone that finds the cache sign a card. after 52 (54, with jokers) cards have been signed, take it out, and... well, you decide what to do with it after that. i'd keep it as a souvenir of... something. then put a new deck in. +GeoCyclist
They would take a card lets say the two of hearts. and replace it with a two of hearts from a forien deck Who wants the 2 of hearts? Everyone would take the Ace of Spades. Quote Link to comment
+art begotti
yeah, aces, royals, and all the high cards (plus sevens) are usually the first to go. i guess ace of spades is the unofficial FTF card. and a good forecast. Quote Link to comment
+hamgran
There is a neat cache in downtown Toronto, a Tarot Card reading cache... the waypoint name is GCHMG0 (Did I do that right? I haven't quite figured out how to place links on forums yet). Haven't made it to this cache yet, but I'd like to, sometime. - hamgran Quote Link to comment
