+Phone guy
Which geocache has the most logs? I saw this cache. I havent found one with so many logs, I was curious which one was the most visited. (Traditional Cache's) Sin City Micro Edited May 18, 2004 by Phone guy Quote Link to comment
+WeightMan
You mean besides the yellow jeep, of course. Someone will markwell a link to it and I can't since I don't have a link handy and it has been archived due to the number of logs. Quote Link to comment
+Phone guy
I did the Yellow Jeep, but I am looking for traditional cache's. Quote Link to comment
+WeightMan
I kind of figured that, but thought I would throw that in anyhow. As I recall sometime around the archiving of the yellow jeep cache there was a thread asking the same question. Quote Link to comment
+cache_us_if_you_can
Jeremy, care to jump in and help us with this one, too? Quote Link to comment

Yes, I can hear you now I hope the pending strike won't affect your attendance at the event this weeked Quote Link to comment
+Phone guy
I wish! I could use a couple days to geocache. But I work for the govt. We dont get to strike for any reason. I am looking forward to Sunday. I went by R&R today to make sure I could pick up the meat on Saturday. Do you know if we will need ice Chests? Quote Link to comment
+cache_us_if_you_can
We'll bring a large one with ice... just to be on the safe side. If you need anything just let us know Quote Link to comment
+Team Noltex
I posed this same question on another forum and got nowhere with it. I even got asked why I would possibly want to know something like that. Hopefully, you'll get some good examples and we'll both find out! Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
I'd have to say that Sin City Micro has to be at the top, or near it (not including locationless). The next closest one I know of has 170 logs. Quote Link to comment
+TEAM 360
THIS ONE has a lot of finds, but has been disabled for quite a while now.... Quote Link to comment
MustangPhreak&Phate
In our area we have Demise of a Dot Com with an even 300 logged visits. And there is also the ultra-popular Rock that Rolls with 620 logged visits (including notes of course), but it is a moving cache so gets alot of action. Wish there was an easy way to count just the smileys to see how many times its actually been "found" though. Quote Link to comment
+cache_us_if_you_can
Thanks for the input. Brian, do you have a link to the second one? Quote Link to comment
+Phone guy
Thanks for the replys. I guess I am a numbers guy, not that its important to have a high find count but I think it would be cool to find one that was so popular. Quote Link to comment
+kbraband
The last I heard, the WGA Geo-Campout event cache had over 1300 finds for the weekend. http://www.geocaching.com/seek/cache_detai...60-8be2ade11120 Quote Link to comment

+Phone guy
I looked at the logs and some have looged it as finds many many times. Check "ecorangers" It looks like they just logged to bump up their finds. Quote Link to comment
+Phone guy
Check out ecorangers, they logged that event 48 times. Is that OK? I know each one counts in the stats. Quote Link to comment
WH
Check out ecorangers, they logged that event 48 times. Is that OK? I know each one counts in the stats. Your only suppose to log a cache once. Any future visits sould be posted as notes. But if logging the cache 48 times makes them feel like better cachers, let them. I Put no stock in numbers....just fun . Quote Link to comment
WH
It looks like quite a few cachers posted multiple finds on the event. Do you think anyone would notice if I logged a few too? Quote Link to comment
MustangPhreak&Phate
It appears that they're logging the temporary caches they found at the event on the page. I believe that is common accepted practice since the caches are "one time only" caches that won't have their own cache page. Quote Link to comment
+Phone guy
Oh, I did not know that. We are having an Event in Redding CA on the May 23. I understand there are some temp caches but we didnot know that they can count as Found. Sounds good to me though. (even though numbers dont matter) Quote Link to comment
