kokopeli
We are having an event cache on May 23 2004 and want out of towners to be able to come and do some of ouf best caches. So list a few that you like best and tell why. We want to give then Reddings Best. I like " In Plane View" yes I hid it and it is devious for a micro that can only be in a 25 ft sq area. but i have had more coments and complements from friends after they find it. Plan on a 10 min or more to find it even though it is in plan view. Quote Link to comment
Boo Monkey
Valhalla was a good one...Took us a few times to find and then when we did, we felt SO silly for missing it. We literally had our hands on it more than once before we realized where it was. Carnegie Hall is another GREAT one...completely obvious once you realize where it is. Makes perfect sense, and a great bit of local history there too! Those are the two that stick out in my mind right now. I can post more if/when I think of them. Quote Link to comment
kokopeli
Thanks! I hope more people reply before May 24 when we have our event cache Gathering Nuts. Hope you can make it, it should be fun. Watch for it to be on the cache listings, just waiting for Hemlock to aprove it now. Patience is a virtue. +cache_us_if_you_can
Carnegie Hall is another GREAT one... Thanks Phlynks for naming one of our caches! Sorry it gave you so much trouble Speaking of trouble, we enjoyed Troll Trouble. Great cammo! Plain View is a nice one, just kind of have to think outside the box. Another one we liked was Victoria's Secret. Finding the cache was the easy part, finding the way back to the car on the other hand... Edited April 3, 2004 by cache_us_if_you_can Quote Link to comment
Lazyboy & Mitey Mite
Do you have the event listed yet? We'd like to attend ourselves. Quote Link to comment

cache_us_if_you_can
Here is the Redding event. Hope to see all of you there. Oh, yeah. We should be free Saturday if anyone needs a "local" to guide them. Just let me know ahead of time Edited April 7, 2004 by cache_us_if_you_can Quote Link to comment
Escapades
We enjoyed the Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs series. We have only found about 4 of the Dwarfs, but we found them in the dark with a flashlight. We have a hard time stopping sometimes. Quote Link to comment
kokopeli
I would recommend Left Utensil or Top Of The World for an "overview" of our caching world. "The Man Can" made me laugh most. Quote Link to comment
cache_us_if_you_can
We just did The "Man Can" today, and I must say this one is great! Thicketfella did an awsome job making this manly cache very manly (don't worry, there is something for everyone). Edited April 8, 2004 by cache_us_if_you_can Quote Link to comment
cache_us_if_you_can
Just bumping this one back to the top. Our event is just 22 days away and we were hoping for a little more input. Quote Link to comment
Delta-S
I only did a few Redding caches last fall. Kapusta was my favorite, though it sounds like it's in need of maintenance now. Quote Link to comment
cache_us_if_you_can
It looks like Kapusta is no longer under 8 feet of water and is ready to be found As for our event, if any of you will be there and have not posted a note please do it soon (so we'll have enough tri tip for everyone). +cache_us_if_you_can
I know what you mean. Kokopeli is really nuts, and they're related to us Just to let everyone know, this is the last call for our event. It starts tomorrow at 11am sharp. Quote Link to comment
Escapades
Some of the NUTS in our family don't even own a GPS, go figure. (LOL) Quote Link to comment
Phone guy
Actually I believe the ones without a GPSr really are nuts not NUTS. Maybe we should get together and buy the rest of the clan a GPSr for Christmas. It may be to late for some though. Quote Link to comment
MtnMike
The cache I like taking friends to is The "Man Can." Great location, size is awsome and it does matter. . .making the cache special. Theme is great as well. Cut my teeth on Snow White. Loved discovering the spot for Le Mountain Tour de Redding. MtnMike Edited May 24, 2004 by MtnMike Quote Link to comment
