capt caper
I see some have had problems while handleing of the 60C. One said the light would go off when held, another said it shut's off by itself if it gets bumped. How are the others that have them doing that has them? Have they been O.K. i.e. rugged? JumpinJoe
No problems here. I've dropped it, bumped it and had it in 5 degree weather and no problems so far. Quote Link to comment

+Brian - Team A.I.
Powering off when bumped could be due to rechargeable batteries. I had that problem with my Vista when it was mounted to the handlebars of my mtn bike. 25mph downhill on a rough Jeep trail knocked a battery loose. Another similar situation with regular alkaline batteries didn't give me that problem. Of course, if you're really stressed about this problem, I'll offer up my Vista, cig light cable, data cable, bike mount and windshield auto mount for your 60C. Quote Link to comment

I thought is was a kids toy. I don't have any kids anymore they've grown into something inbetween. I don't think you can call it manhood yet I can't wait to try the color. If I dont' like it I'll dump it on Ebay. Garmin seems to command a good resell price. Capt. Edited February 27, 2004 by capt caper Quote Link to comment

capt caper
No problems with mine either, I love it. Good, they always seem to have built a good unit in the past. So it looks like they might still be doing so. Maybe even better than the old ones. Quote Link to comment
