+Will+Bill Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 What city do you think has the most caches? Quote
+WeightMan Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 Without actually counting the caches in the city itself, I would estimate no more than 50-60 within the city limits of Seattle. There are far more in Redmond just across the lake. There are quite a few in the hills east of the city though. The problem with asking this question is the meaning of "most caches." If it is just the greatest number then Los Angeles has a much greater population. A more meaningful question is the most per population or the most for the area involved. This question has been asked before and a quick search would probably get you the reference. Quote
+woodsters Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 I heard Nashville had a great deal of them.... Quote
+DustyJacket Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 What counts as a city? The Denver metro area is a conglomeration of Denver tightly packed with 11 or more cities/towns. Kansas City is similar. KC and St. Louis have a high cache density if you check the maps, but I have not counted them. Quote
+wildearth2001 Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 any body know which state has more per sqr mile?? Quote
+DustyJacket Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 I would guess Rhode Island. Not because they have so many caches, but because they have so few square miles. Quote

Funny that Denver, Los Angeles, and even San Diego are really a bunch of small cities put together, but Albuquerque is one city. Quote
+Mopar Posted January 3, 2004 Posted January 3, 2004 (edited) any body know which state has more per sqr mile?? Thats easy. If you count Washington, DC as a state, it wins hands down with 76 caches in 158 sq.km, or 4810 caches per 10k sq.km. NJ is the 1st actual state, with 1,152 caches in 20,168 sq.km, or 571 caches per 10k sq.km. RI is next with 145 caches in 3,139 sq.km, or 462 caches per 10k sq.km.
