+sept1c_tank
I'm not good at posting links, but you can view a very complimentary story about geocaching (and me) at: http://www.indystar.com/print/articles/2/056250-9462-015.html If anybody can post the link, please feel free to do so. +Prime Suspect
Good story. If only they could have avoided using the phrase "treasure hunt". "Don't mess with a geocacher. We know all the best places to hide a body." Quote Link to comment

I think the real meanign of the word is lost to time and will never be known. The best explantion(s) I've seen are at http://www.indiana.edu/~librcsd/internet/extra/hoosier.html Jolly R. +Woodbutcher68
Interesting link Jolly. Being a native "Hoosier" myself, I subscribe to the variation of "Who's There". In some areas it's a variation of "who's your daddy?". I now refer to the "Hoosier Lottery" as the Hoover lottery, since it sucks my money up. And there are some "Hoosiers" that are "Hosers". Maps?!? I don't need no stinking maps! I got coordinates! Quote Link to comment
+team travel pig
very funny on the hoosiers - my husband went to IU and subscribes to the "hoosier's your mama"... and suspect - you are so right about the treasure hunt thing... but here's how editors work... the read something... they think... what is this? how can i make a busy and largely disinterested public understand this quickly? *BINGO!* treasure hunt - everyone gets that! my editor did it to my story - and every other story i've read has had it added too - i bet by editors. c'est la guerre. ___________________________________ who's got the pig?
