+Geo-Jeddak Posted January 7 Posted January 7 Yesterday I noticed that on several of my geocache and event pages, the images I uploaded are no longer showing up. Some affected are GCB1D8N, GCAW09T, GCAMQZ0, GCAC7X9, GCABDCW, GCA9MWM, GCA9G4Y. For all of them I uploaded the images directly to geocaching.com when creating the pages, so they are not hosted in an external site that is currently down. When I try to coy the image link and open it in a new tab, I get an error message that the image cannot be found. Are more people experiencing this problem? And is it a temporary bug or do I have to reupload all the images? Quote
+Max and 99 Posted January 7 Posted January 7 I checked some of my recent geocaches and the images are showing up fine on the app and website. Yours are not showing up on either the app or the website when I view them. Maybe that helps? Quote
+Viajero Perdido Posted January 7 Posted January 7 (edited) The first GC code you mentioned has one image, right? I see that normally in my browser (Firefox). A suggestion, maybe it helps. Instead of putting the "float" CSS stuff on the image tag, try wrapping the image in "div" tags rather than "p", and put the "float" on the div instead. That's how I do it, and I'm not aware of any display issues with mine. [example] Best of luck. Edited January 7 by Viajero Perdido 1 Quote
+Viajero Perdido Posted January 7 Posted January 7 (edited) Another thought. Your listing specifies the URL Quote https://img.geocaching.com/cache/large/48efa8c7-ccca-47f6-a5cf-0a9d3d9505e2.jpg ...which (when I load it directly) gets redirected to Quote https://s3.amazonaws.com/gs-geo-images/48efa8c7-ccca-47f6-a5cf-0a9d3d9505e2_l.jpg Try specifying the latter form instead. (I realize now, this is the way I've been doing it.) Edited January 7 by Viajero Perdido Quote

That image I replaced due to the original image no longer showing. I tried the trick with changing the image link for GCAW09T, but to no avail The image remains invisible in both Microsoft Edge and Firefox. Quote
+Pontiac_CZ Posted 22 hours ago Posted 22 hours ago (edited) I am looking at the second of the mentioned cache pages (Pi-Day 2025) in Firefox 133.0.3: Maybe the issue already gone? Edited 22 hours ago by Pontiac_CZ Quote
