+DaTechniker
Since today it is only possible to configure only up to 500 caches in a pocket query, till yesterday it was possible to download 1000. This is a real problem, since my regional PQ do not work anymore :-( I also did not see anything should have changed, so please check, that this works again ASAP. +DaTechniker
According to the homepage it should still be 1000 caches per PQ. With only 500 caches, this feature is useless. 1 Quote Link to comment
+Calypso62
I just tried a test PQ and also received the same message limiting my query to a maximum of 500 results. I hope this isn't permanent. 1 Quote Link to comment
+remix1019
Everytime I modify a PQ where the no. of caches was set to 1000, it tells to me to limit the no. of caches to 500. But down in the explaining text, still the no. of 1000 is mentioned. What's going on? Anyway, in general I feel that this amount restriction is too restricted. As a paying customer and as the no. of hides are increasing I would expect, that also this limit should be increased. Quote Link to comment
+Goldenwattle
I just discovered this. 1000 isn't enough, and won't even cover my small city. I need two bulk loads for that. (And I have already found a high proportion of the local caches, which I exclude from the load.) Now restricted to 500! What the...I certainly hope this is a mistake, because if it isn't, it's REDICULOUS! I'm trying to load Singapore, and with a mere tiny 500, I will need at least 4 loads; maybe more, and makes this a lot harder and time consuming to to. Loads should be allowed up to at least 2000. +Goldenwattle
I just did bulk loads for Singapore and it took three loads because of this REDICULOUS size restriction - way to go, making the game more frustrating and less enjoyable! A 1,000 bulk load would possible have done it, instead of three smaller loads, because the smaller loads also have overlap. Now, I have to go through this with these minuscule loads for Brisbane (whimper), and four other places. Quote Link to comment
+lee737
What! I rely on PQs for all aspects of this game.... I always thought 1000 was stingey in this era of bulk data, and 10,000+ should be instituted. 500 is a joke, for the three premium memberships I pay for my family.... 2 Quote Link to comment
Alan White
We've had 1000 PQs for a long time, then a welcome increase from the original 500. This unannounced change must surely be unintentional. Comment, please, Groundspeak. 3 Quote Link to comment
+libby.de
Just wanted to build a PQ for the weekend and the limit of 500 comes. Does any official can say anything about? Quote Link to comment
+DaTechniker
I found out it is a problem/failure with the mask, existing scheduled PQs work like before, but can not be updated anymore due to this bug. Maybe it would be nice, if someone tests changed features before publishing changes to the homepage for active use. Is there already a plan, whan the change is reverted or the bug is fixes? It is a real problem for my weekend plannings, Quote Link to comment
+MartyBartfast
I suspect this is a bug rather than intentional. Maybe they were intending to increase it to 5000 and someone made a typo 2 Quote Link to comment
+Kdog70
This needs to be addressed ASAP as we are going on some long trips and my automatic downloads are only 500? Hopefully once reset they will remove the 10 per day limit as the ones I have today are useless and need to redownload once 1000 or more returns. Help! 1 Quote Link to comment
Keystone
I merged together two threads about the same bug report. For those seeking an immediate response, please keep in mind that the bug was reported in the middle of the night, for Geocaching HQ's time zone. 1 2 Quote Link to comment
Rock Chalk
Thank you for the reports. Engineers have been notified and will be working on it. 2 5 Quote Link to comment

+gypc
I noticed around late June that I can no longer download PQs of 1,000 for offline use on my iPhone using the Geocaching app. It will try forever, indicate it has completed, but then show only 100-200 caches once I turn off service to check the download. This screwed me twice already and is about to again tomorrow through the weekend. Anyone else having this issue? Quote Link to comment

I don't use PQs with Cachly now - it has a better method for making offline lists. Quote Link to comment

+gypc
If the data/wifi is turned off, no caches show on the map. I’ve discovered that if I leave data/wifi on after I’ve tried to download the offline data and move the map all around the saved area, the cache locations are saved, but not their description, child waypoints, logs, hints, etc. Quote Link to comment
