How can I type richtext without using the toolbar? I've tried BBCode and Markdown, so what can I use?

You can use HTML

Edit: Sorry, I read wrong. In cachelistings it is HTML ...

Email existed for quite a long time as a purely text based system.   I used to use an email program called Elm (for Electronic mail) that was developed by a co-worker. Even though GUI based systems were becoming common, text only based email systems such as Elm and Pine were still frequently used.  Frankly, I'd be happy if forums still used plain text for messages (like Usenet...where this game started...did).

That was a quote from the TO. Actually I do know about the advantage of plain text.

Odd, IIRC, I've been using the forums since '07, with no idea what "format" I'm using.

Curious why someone would need to know that.  Thanks.  :)

So they'd know what all the options are.

Big difference between using 3 asterisks to do ***this*** as opposed to bbcode to do this.
