+skyraider Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 Am I the only one that cannot open a Geocaching.com Map from a cache page? All I get is a white page. Quote

Mine was less time and worked, but much of this stuff was on the very-slow side today. Not sure why things are running like years ago, but this is a three-day weekend. Quote
+skyraider Posted February 18, 2020 Author Posted February 18, 2020 After reading the replies, I thought I was just being an impatient old fart, so I tried it again on a local cache and after staring at a white screen for 5 minutes I decided it wasn't going to get any better. Any clues what is wrong? No problem at all getting the map with all the caches on my android phone but not on my laptop. Quote
Keystone Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 Your map link opened for me with no problems in both Firefox and Microsoft Edge. I immediately recognized the location, since my player account owns the oldest cache in that park! What operating system and browser are you using? (Name + version number) 1 Quote

Version info is here:https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/help/17295 On my system IE 11 is pretty broken on Geocaching.com. I’m trying to switch to Brave. Quote
+Viajero Perdido Posted February 18, 2020 Posted February 18, 2020 (edited) Old hardware? The video card in my 12yo ex-PC didn't have the modern-ness to run something called WebGL. There's a test button on the WebGL site. (A never-stated requirement...) If you can see the Browse button, that map should work. Edited February 18, 2020 by Viajero Perdido Quote
+skyraider Posted February 19, 2020 Author Posted February 19, 2020 Thanks Kunarion. I have internet explorer version 11.418.18362.0 Quote
