Filtering out specific members placed caches

Is it possible to filter another persons placed caches and if so how do you do it?

How do you use Project GC to filter out certain cache owners? And then get that list onto your app?

I don't think, that's possible.

On the geocaching website use the filters button. There you can enter the nickname of a cacher in "Hidden by". Leave alle other field unattached and view the result.

Now you can add all found caches, but maximum 1000, to a list.

Repeat the search for other cachers and add these ones to the same list.

Then you can make a pocket query out of your list and copy it to your device.

What exactly do you want? Do you want to have all caches placed by that person or don't you want that person's caches when searching?

If you want the person's caches you can use the search function and fill the "hidden by" field. If you don't want to see that person's caches then do the search first and add them to your "ignore list".

You can remove caches based on the cacher name (actually a column called Owner Id) if you use GSAK.

Import all of the PQ's you want into a database.

Set a filter for a certain Owner Id, then delete those caches from the database.

 

This process can be automated in a script.

Can you use GSAK with an iPhone? Or is it handheld GPS only?
