TroubleChild Posted August 7, 2003 Share Posted August 7, 2003 I have it on good information that a pro-geocaching article will appear tomorrow in the Northwest Airlifter, the McChord AFB newspaper, tomorrow. It was written by a local geocacher, prolific forum poster, and tormenter of a certain local no-finder. There should be a photo or two, and the article mentions several other local geocachers as well. Quote Link to comment

The article covers the entire front page of the McChord Off Duty section of the Northwest Airlifter. There was some editing, improved the story in a couple places by getting rid of some clumsy wording. Some parts were edited out completely. The only mistake I saw (and they usually have a bunch) was the part where it said selecive availability pushed GPS is accuracy out to 30 feet (instead of 300 feet or 100 meters). It covered a lot more than most articles in less space.
