+PennyPA
I get notifications that other members have sent me messages but when I click on the link I get the message "communication error". What's up with this? Quote Link to comment
Moun10Bike
What device/OS/browser are you using when you see the error? Quote Link to comment
+PennyPA
My Samsung note 2. I can get the message if I go to my computer but I'd like to get it on my phone since that's where the notifications come. Quote Link to comment
Moun10Bike
The Message Center is still in beta and the web page is not working properly on all devices and browsers. We have heard from a number of people on Android who are seeing the error that you report. You might want to try the Geocaching Intro app for Android instead. It has built-in Message Center functionality. Quote Link to comment
+PennyPA
I never had trouble getting messages before they decided to do this new thing. where do I find the geocaching intro app for Android? Quote Link to comment

+K13
by the way I hope they scrapthis project AMEN!! If they would add the new functionality like attaching photos to the current email, it would be wonderful. It's crazy to get an email telling you that you have a message, then have to go to the message center to read that message. Quote Link to comment

Meanwhile, everyone is trying to get help and support on mystery cache thru the message center and responses to EarthCache also coming via messages. This is just not acceptable. I understand that some like this feature but I don't, so why not implementing a little switch so I can disable this like I disable "friends requests". This for sure would help a lot of users. +AlfT & Co
where do I find the geocaching intro app for Android? You will find the App in the Play Store. Do a search for GEOCACHE, look for the one with INTRO across the bottom right corner. Good luck Quote Link to comment
+Arne1
For me and for many others it would be useful to the possibility of this pseudo-feature completely blocked. So that no one by mistake used when selecting "Send message" instead of "Send email" could not send such a message to my account. Such blocking feauture would have made me happy. +Gill & Tony
I agree. The message centre is a complete waste of resources which should be used elsewhere. I believe they should Scrap it, add a bit of functionality to the e-mail scheme and get on with doing all the things which users have actually asked for. Quote Link to comment
