jel123
does the map only show caches found (smiley face) or can it also show "did not find." This would let me visualize where I have been, thanks Quote Link to comment

+K13
I don't see the 20+ archived caches I have found on the map. How do I make them appear? Quote Link to comment
+Shinook & White Juan
I can't see the archived caches we've found on the geocache map either. Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
It does not show your Found but archived caches. This is a screen shot of Mackinac Island. I (we) found a great number of them - not all - last year. This map currently only shows two smilies for us. Being a vacation spot, caches here come and go rather quickly. Quote Link to comment

+Shinook & White Juan
Is there a way to get around this so that you can see all your finds on the geocache map? Quote Link to comment
+Panther&Pine
Is there a way to get around this so that you can see all your finds on the geocache map? You should already be able to see all active caches that you've found. Do you mean a map that includes ALL your finds everywhere regardless of status? Quote Link to comment
+Gitchee-Gummee
Is there a way to get around this so that you can see all your finds on the geocache map? Probably not, unless you generate a map with your own stats. Then too, you'd have to update it occasionally. Archived caches are not normally available on the map for various reasons -- be they found by you or not. Caches are archived for a myriad of reasons, a goodly number of them for trespassing/permission issues. It is the latter that poses the biggest problem for leaving them up and available. Leave them up and some 'yahoo' will try to find them, possible resulting in pain, prosecution or injury. I just don't think that geocaching.com or Groundspeak wishes to be an integral part of that. How best to avoid this scenario? Beings as how they don't (technically) exist anymore, don't leave any on the map. Period. Quote Link to comment
