That is just so.... Eeeew -
Maybe looking at project-GC and then putting a field note on the caches you think are good. Very inconvenient but I really have no other idea since PQ's doesn't contain FP count... /Samuel

On my Garmin (A dakota though) you go to settings -> about... and then with big letters: Software version: 5.80 or something like that. /Samuel

I agree, all my thoughts go to John.. /samuel

Happened to me as well. I solved the problem by going to my profile in the top right of the site, then clicking on the cartridge you would like to download and then going to "Download cartridge" and choosing "ZIP". Hope this helped. /Samuel

I am using a Garmin Dakota 10 and it simply has a feature called "Waypoint averaging" where it simply creates a new waypoint and then averages that taking one coordinate mark every 1 second if I remember it right. I have used this a few times when placing caches and in most logs people mention that the coordinates are great /Samuel

Will this Cache idea be classed as "Puzzle Cache"?
samuel123abc replied to Spotted: Correze's topic in How do I...?
In Sweden there is a cache where you have to go to GZ. When there you have to find a tool located on a nearby sign to unscrew a lid from a metal tube. This cache is listed as a traditional one. /Samuel -
Great tips, there are many caches located in flagpoles here in Sweden, and I often walk with my shoe untied and then grab the cache. Doesn't actually draw a lot of attention in urban areas. /Samuel
-
You could also write some kind of waypoint near the cache where there is a cool place to discover for example. Just an idea /Samuel

I would love a souvenir for this day. Where did you hear a "no", wmpastor? /Samuel

TB school project: help needed
samuel123abc replied to PeJaLi's topic in Scandinavia and Baltic countries
Hello Janine, My name is Samuel. I live near Gothenburg in Sweden and have gotten 215 finds and a few hides. I would love to join the project as I live in Sweden. Please just reply here or send me a mail (preferred) and we can get in touch with each other Looking forward to it! //Samuel -
I simply make caches far from home and caches that I put much effort into PMO. Else, for these who I can manage in an everyday cycle I really do not mind making them accessible for everyone. //SAMUEL

I do indeed agree, they are growing which can be fun but also a little boring. Since I am liking all the swag in the caches. Straight answer: Yea, I agree, we should have a size for nanos //SAMUEL

How do I get instant notification of new cache?

Not complaining or anything like that, but in the future, it helps if you do not just put "how do I" in the thread name but actually name the main question in the name if that makes sense. Cheers Samuel!

How do I set my app to alert me when a new cache appears?
samuel123abc replied to LuckyLeoLady's topic in How do I...?
Hello, Yea, at the moment, the app doesn't support alerts for new caches for you to go on your FTF-hunt . I have setup my Gmail in my phone and every time I get a new mail it appears on my screen. I am simply using the Gmail app and setting up the instant notifications to go to that email if that made sense. I hope I helped you! -
Hello hotair274, I have never had this problem, but I may be able to help you. Using internet explorer 7 is not supported by gc.com. This may be your problem. It may also be because you are using compatibility mode. 6.15. Older Web Browsers Hope I helped you, Sincerely, Samuel

Maybe you can kindly ask the geocache owner to go to the cache and ask him to check on the TB code.
-
Yes, it does indeed. Firstly, refer to the help center; 2.1. How do I search for a geocache near me? What you then can do is just go to gc.com home page, then click on "play" and then select "Show geocache map". Sincerely, Samuel

Find listings for caches that have been archived
samuel123abc replied to camnpete's topic in How do I...?
The feature said above on project-gc is not there from what I did some research about now. -
Hello guys, I was just placing out a cache today and figured I would do something a little special, a mystery of some kind. Now, I need some help. Does any of you have any good ideas for a mystery? Sincerely, Samuel.
