Guess Geocaching isn't big over there when you have to worry about what you're picking up might explode... Quote
+CacheFreakTim Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 How funny, I did't even think about that. I wonder how long it will take for one to pop up in that city itself. Quote
+A & J Tooling Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Well now that they're making it a shrine perhaps we can get a cache placed there... Quote
+DragonsWest Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Probably want to make that one a Virtual, when they roll out the New Virtuals (later this month, unless it's been pushed back again.) Quote
+tozainamboku Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 The Best Kept Secrets Waymarking category was considering a waymark here. However, we believe that the location no longer qualifies as a Best Kept Secret. Quote
+TheLoneGrangers Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 lol....i didnt think about this...and I'm the guy sitting at the laptop while my wife is watching Survivor or amazing race and saying I bet there is caches there and looking them up lol Quote
+deercreekth Posted May 5, 2011 Posted May 5, 2011 Maybe it can qualify as one of the Big Things Waymarks since it is 8x the size of other homes in the area. Quote
+GrateBear Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 Well now that they're making it a shrine perhaps we can get a cache placed there... And it's a pretty good bet that the Pakistani Army certainly won't find it. Quote
Mr.Yuck Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 Only 8 caches in Pakistan, two of which have never been found. In a country of 170,000,000 people, it's only a matter of time. Quote
+Chief301 Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 I do think "Seal Team Six" would be an awesome name for a caching team, though... Quote
+NYPaddleCacher Posted May 6, 2011 Posted May 6, 2011 Only 8 caches in Pakistan, two of which have never been found. In a country of 170,000,000 people, it's only a matter of time. I was just doing some searching on countries which had zero or very few caches. Using the list of "Country" locations on the Hide and Seek a page there are 78 countries which have 7 or fewer caches. There are 21 locations (9 of them in Africa) which have zero geocaches. While many of those are small islands (and even include an uninhabited island) that is still a lot of real estate with very few geocaches. Quote
