+chrysleraspen08 Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Hi, I have been trying to figure this one out for a while but am having trouble with it. I have found the answer for the puzzle, but I don't have the coords yet. Anybody have any tips? +dfx Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Ha I know this one well. Send me a message if you want a hint. Quote
+mpilchfamily Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 Contact the CO and if he doesn't respond then ask some of the people who have currently found it. Quote

No. Publishing something is not the same as sending it to someone in private. Quite the opposite really. Quote
+Charlie Fingers Posted April 22, 2011 Posted April 22, 2011 (edited) It took me about 10 minutes after I found the correct program that would print it in grid form for me. This is an excellent beginners puzzle cache and also an excellent intro to Sudoku. I have a ten part series in north Georgia that is a Sudoku challenge. I wish I would have thought about this type using 0 through 8 instead of the regular 1 through 9. It would have made some of the placements a LOT easier. But, it is almost through now, my puzzles have been chosen, and the final has been placed. All I can say is that the hint is in the narrative and look for numbers similar to the given coordinates. There are a few things that I noticed with the calculations that you might have not realized. Quote

I need help with trying to find out how to do the math question. http://www.geocachin...59-52de04885c5e Please take these to the Puzzle Help forum. Seriously... folks have been unusually nice to you in spite of asking for help with a puzzle. Don't push your luck. It is not something that is generally tolerated here. +A & J Tooling Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 Why do people bother with it if someone else solves it? Isn't that....cheating? Quote

Nah, I think you're just messing with us, now. But if that was a serious question, my advice to you is to just put all the mystery caches in your area on your ignore list. Quote
+Gan Dalf Posted April 29, 2011 Posted April 29, 2011 (edited) Aside from the fact that posting questions for help on puzzle caches on the Fourms or any other Social Networking site (like Facebook) is generally frowned upon uless you've first asked the CO and not gotten a response, the thing that I really got a kick out of was your log of the cache once you "found" it: April 22 by chrysleraspen08 (46 found) Happy Earth Day. Thought that I would go and grab this cache after I finally solved the puzzle yesterday. Nice hiding spot and container. I should have read the instructions because I forgot to bring a pen. Will come back sometime and bring a pen to sign the logbook. TFTC. The "forgot to bring a pen" excuse is not looked on kindly by a great deal of cache owners and is likely to end up getting your online log deleted... Edited April 29, 2011 by FobesMan Quote
+Arkanada110 Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 I need help with a puzzle cache that involves movie titles. I have most of them except four. Each movie title contains a number. If they were in numerical order (first pic was #1, etc.) I'd need the titles of #5, #7, #12, and #13. Anyone good with movies? Please help. Please PM my user (Arkanada110) on the GC site or reply to this thread. Thanks! Quote

Usually for this type of puzzles most don't mind helping you fill in the blanks. Quote
+niraD Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 According to Groundspeak's terms of use, "You agree not to:[...] (m) Publish, in any form of media, the solutions, hints, spoilers, or any hidden coordinates for any geocache without consent from the cache owner." Private communication is fine, but publishing spoilers, solutions, etc. in a public forum like this is inappropriate. Quote
+sword fern Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 I am sure everybody is good at puzzle caches. Some people need to get it out. Quote
+Arkanada110 Posted May 8, 2011 Posted May 8, 2011 Trust me, the CO thrives on cachers not solving his puzzles. I need help. Quote
