+Max and 99 Posted January 20, 2011 Share Posted January 20, 2011 You shouldn't be getting emails when someone finds caches in your area UNLESS you added those caches to your watchlist. Under your profile, check "lists" then "watchlist" and see if they are shown there. You can add/remove caches to your watchlist quite easily. Let us know if that's the issue. Quote Link to comment

That depends on where you live. If I set Found It as a log type for instant notifications I bet that I'd still get fewer email messages (I despise the pluralization of email) than many geocachers that live in areas with more geocaching activity get with just "Published".
