+deranja
I have played a lot of different games at various events such as ammo can bowling and a film canister toss just to name a few. But what games have you all played that you liked? Im putting on another event soon and thought i would ask the forums for some possible new ideas. Quote Link to comment
+roziecakes
At our local geo-olympics, I was in a nano-rolling contest and failed miserably. Quote Link to comment
GOF and Bacall
In all the events I have been to I have never played any of the games. I don't usually find any caches during the event either. I go to socialize with other cachers. Put names to faces. Talk about where the best caches are. That kind of thing. +Team MacKenzie
The last event I was at had us doing a geo-caching poker run which was a lot of fun. The hosts had set out 5 temporary caches in the park where the event was held. Each cache contained sealed envelopes with playing cards. The best poker hand won a really nice price. They also had second and third prized for us. Quote Link to comment

+niraD
My favorite games have been the final ACTIVITIES of the GBA's annual battle of wits with the infamous Venona. Quote Link to comment
+power69
BINGO and no, i never won any of the games. Quote Link to comment
+briansnat
I like games that encourage socializing, rather than ones that send cachers off in different directions. One good game for that is geocacher bingo. I'm not crazy about poker runs, temp caches, or events where there are lots of real caches in the park. It seems that everybody is off hunting the things and when I get home and look at the logs I see a number of people who were there and I would have loved to meet, but they were out caching the entire time. +triga
Beste event game we had was a night-game where the organisers chased us through the woods with a police car (with sirens etc), while we had to follow reflector trails and solve puzzles to find to final stash. it was AWESOME Quote Link to comment
+Castle Mischief
At the event I held we did "find the pin" "ammo can toss (aka dislocate the shoulders of your fellow cachers with an over-weighted can)" and an easteregg hunt to find coordinates that lead to an ammo can filled with swag and an unactivated geocoin- with bonus coordinates that lead to an unactivated TB dog tag. +Zor
I've put on an event in my area for the last three years that more or less resembles the TV show The Amazing Race. Cachers start at a single location where they get a clue that takes them to another cache or location. If it's a cache, they open it up and get their clue and keep going. If it's a location, then they perform a task at that location. They've had to eat a particular food, drink a drink, find a comic, find a CD, find a poster, count windows on a building, find a movie, count lamposts on a street, and many others. When they cross the "finish" line, every team gets scored and the team with the highest score "wins" a little trophy. We have a big BBQ at the finish line for everyone to mingle. Goes over pretty well. Quote Link to comment
