Skate and Jane
Now have Windows 7 and when running Firefox can't seem to stay logged in! Clicked the box to stay logged in and checked my internet options but every time I move a page it logs me out again Only happens with Firefox and only on the geocaching website. Is anyone else suffering the same way? I know I can change to Google Chrome etc. but want to stay on Firefox. Any help would be great. Quote Link to comment
dibbler69
I dont have any problems with 7 and firefox. I use windows 7 as an administer. Does your windows account have admin permissions? Try running firefox with elevated rights and see if that works. Quote Link to comment
MartyBartfast
You shouldn't need to run firefox with elevated privs. I would check that you've checked the option to accept cookies, and that you're not running any extensions that might be blocking cookies. Quote Link to comment
Skate and Jane
Thanks for your help guys. Still unresolved though Think I will have to move away from Firefox. Quote Link to comment
Team Noodles
sounds like its a corrupt file (mouldy cookie!!) as it's only on this site. try clearing those geocaching/Groundspeak forums cookies (tools/options/privacy/remore indvidual cookies) and then try again? Failing that deleting the cookies file itself might work : follow this and delete the cookies.sqlite file (with FF closed). Note, you'll of course lose all cookies that way. let us know how you get on! Quote Link to comment
