+WellGeeWhiz
I'm new to geocaching. What I find confusing is all the jargon and initials in various logs. For example, "GJ SL TFTC" was used on one log. What do all these codes mean?! Does anyone have a comprehensive list of codes? Maybe this is how texters talk (I'm not a texter), so let me know if I just need to get with the times. Quote Link to comment

Just so you know shorthand is good in the paper log but if you enjoyed the cache it is appreciated when you expand in your online log. Quote Link to comment

brucsteve
thanks for the link to the GeoLex. I have learned a few but came across the CITO one as a way to distract muggles and could not for the life of me figure out what that meant! LOL So now I'll take a plastic shopping bag with me was part of my gear! Quote Link to comment
+Beauges
I know most of the normal one,s. But there is a guy in my state that uses "gaff" all the time. Any ideas on what that means? Quote Link to comment
