try taking a screen shot of your puzzle and adding it as a picture to the cache page or import the excel document into an image file and save it as a jpg.

use a magnetic plate or strip of magnet, write on that in the uv pen, and place that on the cache. you could do some creative stuff with that such as making the magnet look like it is part of the structure (telephone)

i used to use an iphone to place caches. I never had an issue with coords because i would take a lot of coords using a coord app. i then would go home, triangulate and then use google earth and bing BOTH to confirm coords and adjust. it was a lot of work but it worked

HA! I have considered or toyed with the idea before but have never really thought about dropping 5-10 bucks on someone else cache. I have found centrifuge tubes in the oddest places. The money and self conscious has kept me from doing it.

those real rocks with centrifuge tubes are REALLY common here in az along with ones in drift wood.

I am confused by your question. if you have truly found how to log a dnf on a cache using the iphone ap than in the same drop down menu is the found it option. Give me more detail about what you are looking at and how you got there and i can assist you.

Do i have anything constructive to say? hmmmmmmm sounds like "inner circle" berating an outcast and the thing hasn't even gotten off the ground yet! *sigh* no sir, i happen to consider you as much a part of any "circle" as I am if not MORE. I was simply asking you for something constructive as apposed to negative. as far as the most recent posts are concerned any suggestions on the boundaries? Lastly, my solution to the less traveled caches is A. getting people such as yourself involved. B)creating a bookmark page that would direct people to those caches suggested by people like y yourself.

i only write or have my wife write journal entry like logs on caches with REALLY BIG log books. i am talking notebook size. we will write a sentence or two in GOOD sized log books. otherwise just name and date. we love to see a huge og book were we can write or draw something. i have drawn in a few.

Needs Archived: the log was wet and or full but it doesn't just need maintenance.

Furthermore, i socialize and go to events but i personally do not do this enough to even really remember the first name of any cachers except my wife and guy

I hope to detract from any cliqueness by spreading nomination and voting in such a widespread way that it would be difficult. To do this, like i am now, i will be including links in my logs to forums. I also hope others will do the same for me (hint hint wink wink o_-) . if the polls are set up on public forum and i can convince enough people to nominate caches, try the nominated caches, and vote, I hope to minimize the popularity contest. I can see how this could happen but i think i will try again. Instead of just giving the negative, do you have anything constructive that might help with this situation or are you just passively saying it is a bad idea?

but it is similar to a post office it is a security and safety concern, even if it is after hours. As a teacher, I would never place a cache on school property

I don't disagree with this system but maybe instead of the photo and the log (which could be separate situation all together.) maybe keep a few of the quarky catagories such as best overall description (historical or comedic), best cammo or container, and best series or theme cache. It would be 9 MORE OPINIONS !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
