"Dropping" a trackable after find has been logged

You can't drop a TB by editing the find log. The drop field isn't available.

There are two ways to do it that I know of.

1. Delete the original find log and do it again. (Copy the text of your log to your clipboard to paste to the new one)

2. Create a Note log. The TB field will be available there. Just a comment like "Oops, bug drop" to explain why the note.

You should "Edit" that log entry (without actually editing what you wrote)......... scroll down to the bottom of that page and highlight the traveler that you wish to drop into that cache, then "submit".

EDIT: You can do the same by logging a "note", as mentioned.

While an edit-the-original-log option would be nice for forgot-to-log-traveler-drops, as stated, it is not an option.

Many cachers will also go back and delete their "Oops, bug drop" Note log to reduce the clutter on the cache page. Deleting this Note log on the cache page will not in any way affect the traveler.
