Creating Geocoins is Addictive!

I'm already thinking of the next one I want to create. My husband thinks I'm nuts. Between the steady shipment of others' coins arriving, and my own creation, I think he's thinking about hiding the credit card.

only one so far, an idea was used on another, and I've got a palithora palit butt load of ideas for others so if some manufacturer runs dry in the idea department and want to work out a deal.... I'll never make all of them myself...

One in dev (moon dipper), one on deck (tribal sun). All in my goofy cartoony style that I'm sure some will love and some will hate.

I have my fourth in the works right now (pre-order ends at midnight tonight! plug plug!)

 

The first three were done through other vendors. This one I have done completely on my own.

 

I have one coin in pre-production, one on the drawing board, and a 3 or 4 coin series that I have in mind.

 

Yes, it is addictive!!

One actually completely created (originally sold through a vendor), one just went to the samples stage today (will be offered by me when actual production is finished and the coins are in hand), and a whole slew of in progress designs that may or may not ever go anywhere.

How many created?...In real life, or in my mind??

 

One has been produced, one has been sampled, two have been briefly discussed with the vendor, Three are in my mind still. Do you count my mixing and matching?? Do we count Group projects? You are right...Once I started thinking in this art medium, the ideas really come flowing.

Wow, geocachingdragon. That first coin is awesome (actually they all are), and I don't think I've ever seen it before! Do you have any for trade? I have my first coin coming in next week (stalker me).

Now we are to the point where we will probably just redo the original coins with different plating. We only started making coins so that we would have them to use, we had no idea that other people would want them.

Sorry Woogiekids i ran out of those a while ago. The black and gold pictured was a family and friends addition only 10 were made . there is a regular one on ebay this week . I made almost a 1000 of them so someone might have one for trade. Thanks by the way for the nice comments

My first coin is the Naylamp Geocoin. In about 2 weeks, my Travelstamps will be available for sale.

 

And there are 2-3 ideas in my mind and some are fixed on paper, but I just need time to finish the artworks or contact local companies for some "special" ideas

I am also participating in a group project -- the 090909 event coins at the moment. It's a beautiful design by Jackalgirl.

 

I have a couple of other coin ideas that I would like to do -- one is almost totally designed in my head but not yet on paper. I am waiting for my husband to forget about the cost of the last one... lol!

Thanks! Umm...possibly. I've been feeling the itch lately, but I think my husband has dibbs on one first.
