+StarBrand
Not bad - Check this out: http://www.google.com/products/catalog?hl=...ng=p#ps-sellers Not sure I would trust some of those resellers though......... Quote Link to comment
+J-Way
According to the Garmin website, the MSRP on the 60CSx is $399.99, unless you want the "Pacific" version which is $535.70. Since you appear to live in Canada and would get the "Americas" version, your savings is only about $104.49 instead of $240.49. But it's still a decent price from a reputable re-seller. If you want cheaper you'll probably have to buy used from eBay or from the "GPS Garage Sale" forum here. Please note that this unit only comes with a general base map. You'll need to purchase additional maps if you want topo (for off-trail hiking) or turn-by-turn navigation in your car. Quote Link to comment

Wai`anae CRider Can you recommend where to purchase one from? For the antenna tigergps.com has them or ebay... For the actual 60CSx newegg.com has them for $299 free ups or Amazon for $297 free shipping Watch out for the super cheap google deals , than try and slip you a refurished one. Quote Link to comment
+klossner
Don't forget to get an external antenna if you frequent tall trees and or narrow valleys.I frequent narrow gorges filled with tall trees and never lose lock with the built-in antenna, which I keep pointed at the sky. But my old 60CS (no 'x') would lose lock in those situations. Quote Link to comment

Wai`anae CRider The 60CSx is unlikely to need one, except in extreme circumstances. The quad-helix antenna and SiRFIII high-sensitivity chip do quite well. Quote Link to comment

Agreed - would need to be a fairly extreme circumstance to require an external. Quote Link to comment
