+The Yinnies
I just got Garmin Topo and when I install it it shows it is on the computer but when I go to Mapsource it will not show it in there. I tried to unistall and reinstall and the same thing. I had it installed on my laptop but the same thing happened. It is giving me a hard time trying to uninstall it on that computer. Hopefully someone can help. Thanks Quote Link to comment
MtnHermit
Show on the computer? How so? Seems to me you just need to use the pull down dialog in Mapsource to open Topo. After that it'll remember the last map you used and start with that map the next time. Like this: Quote Link to comment

There is a work around installation so that you can run it without having the disk in the drive. Do not remember where that is but do a search on the site. Quote Link to comment
+The Yinnies
I got it to install and work on one computer but I am trying to unistall on the other and it says it is suspended? Quote Link to comment
+Redwoods Mtn Biker
If it's a recent install, use Windows System Restore to get rid of it. Quote Link to comment

The workaround is to copy the contents of all the CD's to one directory and run the install from that directory - you won't need the CD's view the mapsource. Quote Link to comment
+The Yinnies
Got it to work. I installed the new Mapsource and loaded it again. Thanks Quote Link to comment
