Max and 99 Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Good question. I don't know if you can change your username, but if not, you might consider opening a new account since you have one find so far and relogging that would be easy. Good luck. Quote
Team Cotati Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 (edited) I am a premium member and would like to change my username to a nickname. Cannot find how to do that. Can anyone help? thanks I don't know how to do it and I couldn't find it in a forum search. But if I were wanting to change my user name under these circumstances, I'd email a user named 'alamogul' because I know that he was able to do it and might be of assistance. +CACHE KRAWLER Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 (edited) Steps to changing your usename: 1. E-mail contact@Groundspeak.com 2. Type OLD Username exactly how you have it now i.e Donna Green 3. Type NEW Usename exacyly how you want it CAPS and all i.e DonnA GreeN 4. Wait for reply from Groundspeak reps (most likely it will be Annie) 5. Cache on! I've changed my username more than I have fingers on my left hand. Some sort of identity crisis issue I used to have. Take care Edited April 11, 2009 by CACHE KRAWLER Quote

CACHE KRAWLER Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 Once you recieve the confirmation reply from her it will take roughly the better part of a day for the actual name to be changed and everything that you have logged under your old name will automatically be changed. Step 2. Continue caching. Hope this helps Quote

Allanon Posted April 11, 2009 Posted April 11, 2009 4. Wait for reply from Groundspeak reps (most likely it will be Annie) Maybe, but probably not. She got a promotion. Quote

Team Cotati Posted April 13, 2009 Posted April 13, 2009 The procedure is documented here. Thank you. Quote
