It's saved my screen a few times when branches have rubbed against it while traipsing through the woods. Worthwhile insurance in my opinion. While I don't have an Oregon, someone else might be able to comment on whether it affects the touch-screen or not. I don't think it does. Quote Link to comment

I have an Oregon which I used w/o a protector for several months and there are lots of little scratches where I probably used the touch screen dirt on my fingers. Quote Link to comment

The screen protector has a slightly different feel than the touch screen, it is a little more smooth but I don't notice it now. Quote Link to comment
