+mchaos
This really isn't a big deal, but it draws my attention and it just makes me feel like I need to do something or forgetting to do something or something is wrong. I understand the need for the disclaimer and I am not saying it shouldn't be on every cache page. it should. I was just thinking, could it be removed from the view of premium members? we obviously agree to it when we purchase a membership. It could also be something else you get when you purchase membership. I know this prolly will not happen. Just a thought/suggestion. Link to comment
+StarBrand
If your attention is consistently being drawn to that -- I would suggest the web site designers did a good job. Actually a compliment to them!! It is a reminder that what we do can be quite dangerous for the under or ill prepared. Needs to be there. Link to comment
+ArcherDragoon
In our current society...my vote is to leave it where it is...for everyone... Link to comment
+9Key
Heck, I'd like the disclaimer to be *more* visible! Link to comment

You'll get used to it. Pretty soon you won't even notice it is there. I agree with the others, it should remain there for all users. Link to comment
CoyoteRed
I'd like for the disclaimer to protect the cache placer and not just this listing company. For a company who claims to be protecting the copyright of the cache placer they do little to protect them from the same liability from which they attempt to protect themselves. Link to comment
+Renegade Knight
I'd like for the disclaimer to protect the cache placer and not just this listing company. ... Ditto. It takes both to make it fun for finders. The protection should cover both to the greatest extent possible. "You assume all risks in seeking this cache" (paraphrasing from memory) seems like a good start. Link to comment
crawil
After reading this thread, I had to pull up a cache page to see what the disclaimer looked like. I had completely mentally blocked it out! Oh, yea, there it is. Link to comment
+DavidMac
I once set up a privoxy filter to remove it- not because I got tired of it, but to save space on the cache page. Same thing with "Warning. Spoilers may be included in the descriptions or links." and the little note about cache log counts. But even when it's there I don't notice it anymore. I think you could do the same in Greasemonkey for Firefox. Link to comment
+DanOCan
I think you could do the same in Greasemonkey for Firefox. Yeah, there definitely was a Greasemonkey script because I used to use it. Link to comment
+blb9556
It has been over a year that I have been caching. If that was missing I would notice. It needs to be their. Link to comment
+ime
I'd like for the disclaimer to protect the cache placer and not just this listing company. It does neither here in continental legal systems. Still worse, disclaimer usually increase the probability and/or portion of the liability of those who use them. This situation is still aggravated by the fact that we're talking about a B2C relation (Groundspeak Inc. on the one hand and cache seekers/hiders on the other...). Besides that, many foreign users don't even understand a bit of these legal texts... Link to comment

I had forgotten about it, but I have Lil Devil's Bag-o-Tricks script running, which includes removing the disclaimer. Link to comment
