Cycle Path Caching

We spent yesterday caching along Colliers Way between Radstock and Kilsmarsden and thoroughly enjoyed it, especially with the fine weather that we had. We couldn't take our bikes as we have changed cars recently and haven't checked whether it fits or not. duh! We were kicking ourselves.

 

Anyway the question that I am leading to is can anyone provide a list of cycle routes laden with caches around the country. It's something that we are keen to do and our kids would enjoy doing it also.

I cycled a section of the Kennet and Avon canal fining about 39 caches.

In place of a link (my iPod doesn't do copy/paste) visit GCK87H. There is a bookmark list with them on it there.

If you look in Memory Map (or Google Earth) they tend to stick out as a line of close proximity caches. So do canals too.

If you were looking for something closer to home, then Skimstone has bookmarked the caches on NCR4 from

Bristol to Bradford-on-Avon.

 

Then there's the Avon Cycleway Series series, although this might not be suitable for the kids due to the distance and amount of on road cycling.

I'd also love to know. I posed a similiar question on the Groundspeak forum UK site entitled: ' searching for cycling and caches, how do you search for cahches you can get to by bike?' Some useful suggestions for where/how to look albeit not totally just particular routes. Here's the link

There's the WTF cache series up near Heathrow (ish). I'll be heading that way one Saturday in May when doing an airport run.
