Froboz
Just wanted to say hello, and that I am new to caching. Just checked my GPS order on GPScity and my new GPS unit has shipped wooo hoo. Currently in Indiana visiting the wife and kids, we are relocating back to California Bay Area, but haven't sold our house yet. Just wanted to say hello out there, and I am looking forward to becoming part of the community. I expect I will be asking lots of questions soon. Froboz aka Steve (Froboz is from the old computer Game Zork, which was my first "Adventure" treasure hunt, and this is my new Adventure! It's also my World of Warcraft Char) Quote Link to comment

Maybe you could drop a line for someone to validate my account there. I used the same handle Froboz. I would love to find some people to Cache with in the Bay Area, because my wife and kids are stuck in Indiana, while I am working there. I am in zip code 95118, San Jose. Quote Link to comment
+drshmuz
Hey Froboz, all I can say is that I heard about the sport a week ago tonight, my GPS arrived Friday, and ever since then I've been completely hooked. The only other activity I can think of that "takes me away from everything else" is hanging out in a casino...and this is much, much cheaper. Never thought I would feel this much of a sense of accomplishment finding a tupperware container. Can't decide whether I love or hate the person who turned me on to this. I'm obsessed with the hunt! It was either this or a PS3, and I figured I would rather get some exercise instead. I play enough games, and I think that my son will like this a lot as well. He is 4 and still likes to be outside, rather than inside playing video games. Fed Ex says I will have my GPS on Wensday at 7, so I plan to hunt a few in Indiana before I head back to California. +Windarii
How funny. I'm a newb to Caching also and my tag name here is also my character's name in Everquest. I moved from that to WoW and then on to LOTRO. I figured as I'm going to be doing my real-life form of questing in this sport, I figured why not use the name I've always gone by in my fantasy questing. Just got a Blackberry with the geocaching software and we are going to go on our first "hunt" this weekend. Can't wait! Quote Link to comment
