NickPick Posted April 15, 2008 Share Posted April 15, 2008 I have a link which used to list all caches in the UK containing a TB with 'Jeep' in the name. It was here. But geocacheuk was offline for a while, and now it's back, the link doesn't work. Since I've decided to make it my mission (albeit not a very high priority one) to find a yellow and red jeep to add to my green and white icons, does anybody know if this search is still available? I'll have a look later on, it may be that you can seach logs for jeep, that would give you any instances of jeep that have been entered. ie. Took Jeep TB TFTC etc... Quote Link to comment

If you type in "red jeep" and click on search, a list of items comes up, and it tells you their distance from your home co-ords. If it's close, you can click on the item to find out the cache name. Unfortuately you can't re-order it my distance away from your home co-ords. I've used this in the past to search for a particular coin that I want to find, to see if there was one nearby. J Yes, I did it via a filter, so that the search was relevent to NickPick I looked up their first cache they found and created a PQ centered at that location, and then used that GC as the cetral point for the search. I was quite suprised that it was so easy to search for TB's / Coins in this way, I may go and do some Jeep hunts myself, I'm yet to get one, but I have seen a 4x4 coin. Quote Link to comment
